
Gegu Welcomes Opposition Defectors to APC in Tawari Ward, Assures Full Integration

The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has received members of opposition parties who formally defected to the All Progressives Congress in Tawari Ward, Kogi LGA.

Receiving the defectors, Engr. Gegu described their decision as bold and timely. The new APC members pledged total loyalty to the party and committed to working for APC victory in all future elections. They also declared support for Governor Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Leaders of the defectors cited Gegu’s “impactful projects and visible footprints” across Kogi LGA as key factors in their decision, praising his grassroots development efforts. They promised to collaborate with him to deepen the party’s reach and deliver more democratic dividends to Tawari Ward.

Engr. Gegu assured the defectors of equal opportunities and full integration into the APC family, noting that the party rewards loyalty and hard work.
