Gegu Receives New Solid Minerals Perm Sec, Calls for Teamwork to Drive Sector Growth

 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, on Tuesday received the newly appointed Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr. Abdulkarim Ahmed, in a warm reception held at the Commissioner’s office in Lokoja.

 

Congratulating Mr. Ahmed, also known as Dangominati and an indigene of Kogi LGA, on his appointment, Engr. Gegu expressed confidence in his capacity to drive the ministry’s agenda forward.

He urged the new Permanent Secretary to work in tandem with other staff members to achieve the ministry’s goals.

The Commissioner stressed the importance of teamwork and collaboration, noting that the ministry’s progress depends on the collective efforts of all staff.

He assured Mr. Ahmed of his full support and cooperation, pledging to work together to develop the solid minerals sector in Kogi State.

In his response, Mr. Abdulkarim Ahmed thanked the Commissioner for the warm welcome and pledged his commitment to working diligently to advance the ministry’s objectives. He promised to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and transparency in his new role.

The reception was attended by management staff and other workers of the ministry, who welcomed the new Permanent Secretary and pledged their support.
