The Oba Elero of Igbagun, Chief Sola Adebola a.k.a Gaddafi have asked Igbagun Muslim faithful to use the occasion of the Eid-el Fitr celebration to offer special prayers for peace, unity and progress of Igbagun.
Muslims all over the world will today observe the Eid-el Fitr celebration to mark the end of the Ramadan fast.
In a goodwill message, He congratulated the Muslim faithful for the successful completion of the holy month of the Ramadan fast and enjoined them to pray for the growth and development of Igbagun and Kogi State in general.
He called for forgiveness and love in daily endeavours and said he believes strongly in the efficacy of prayers for a better Igbagun.
In his words; “The Holy Month of Ramadan provided a privilege for sober reflection and rededication to the service of Allah and humanity. The good deeds demonstrated in the holy month of Ramadan should be sustained in our daily pursuits.”
