Fuel scarcity: Provide succour to civil servants to cushion hardship – Pastor Mathew Jegede


 

Kogi State Government has been called upon to provide pillatives to civil servants to enable them cope with the current acute lack of fuel in the country.

The former State Treasurer of Christian Association of Nigeria Pastor Mathew Jegede made the appeal while speaking with News men in Lokoja.

Pastor Jegede said the people of the country are facing serious challenges as a result of the current fuel scarcity noting that if not urgently checked the effect of it will be diverstating.

The religious leader who also is the State Sherpherd of the Celestial Church Wounder Parish Felele Lokoja explained that the country is blessed with great mineral resources if properly harnesses will save the people from poverty.

Pastor Mathew Jegede appealed to Governor Yahaya Bello to provide busses that will assist civil servants and the people of the state in transportation and described him as a listening leader.

The former State CAN Treasurer advise leader’s at all levels to Shun distraction and promote policies that will improve the living conditions of the people.

 

Pastor Mathew Jegede Also Called on President Muhammed Buhari to expidite actions in bringing back Nigerians in Ukraine and Rushian to seve them from the challenges of the ongoing war in the two countries.

He reiterates determination at praying for peace and development of the state and Commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his giant stride in building lasting infrastructure across the state.

The religious leader called on Christians that have not received their PVC to go now and have it noting that without it they will not be able to perform their civic responsibilities.
