Forum of Political Appointees (2012-2016) Rejoices With Gov. Bello, Alh. Ododo Over Federal High Court Victory


 

The Forum of Political Appointees (2012-2016), under the administration of Capt. Idris Wada have described the Federal High Court Judgement dismissing the petition of Abubakar Achimugu as one in the interest of Kogi people.

 

In a statement signed on behalf of the forum by Hon. Barr. Kayode Olowomoran, Former Commissioner For Culture and Tourism, described the Federal High Court Judgement that dismissed Abubakar Achimugu’s case against APC, Ododo for lacking in merit as a judgement in the right direction.

The Forum in a message of congratulations sent to Gov. Yahaya Bello, the All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, rejoiced with the people of Kogi State over the judgment, pointing out that the coast is becoming clearer that Alhaji Ododo is the people’s choice.

The Forum used the opportunity to call on the people to join hands with the APC Flagbearer in building a virile Kogi State.

Recalled that a Federal High Court in Abuja, on Tuesday, dismissed a case filed by Abubakar Achimugu against the All Progressives Congress, its Governorship Candidate in Kogi State, Usman Ododo, Ozigi Deedat and INEC for lacking in merit.

Justice Obiora Egwuatu who delivered the judgement in the suit marked “FHC/CS/585/2023: Achimugu v. APC & 3 Ors”, said the cause of action, which arose on April 14, 2023, was not statute barred, but that the Plaintiff’s case was bereft of merit.
