A former House of Representatives aspirant for Bassa/Dekina constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Jimba Muhammed Jimba has been appointed as a Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Harmonization for Bassa/Dekina federal constituency.
The Secretary to Kogi State Government, Folashade Arike AyoAde conveyed the appointment letter to Hon Jimba vide a letter with reference No.S/GO/KGS/ADM/272/VOLXII/318 dated September 28, 2022.
Mrs AyoAde in the letter stated that the appointment is with effect from September 28, 2022. She urged the appointee to make use of the opportunity offered to him to galvanize the party for victory in the forth coming general elections.
The Secretary to the State Government also noted that Governor Bello is known for hard work, excellence and result oriented in his administration adding that the appointee is expected to imbibe the political virtues of the governor by moving the party forward in his constituency.
Reacting to his appointment, the new Aide, Hon Jimba Muhammed Jimba thanked the governor for finding him worthy for the appointment. He said he was overwhelmed by the appointment.
Hon Muhammed said he would do all he can to consolidate on governor Bello’s achievements adding that the party will come out victorious in the next general election in his constituency.
