Kogi State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) Special Apostle Dr Adebayo Emmanuel Olaniyan has expressed deep sympathy with victims of flood disaster in the state.
The Umbrella body in Kogi State in a press release sign by the State Chairman Special Apostle Dr Adebayo Emmanuel Olaniyan today in Lokoja said with sadness, the massive destruction of lives and property in the state.
He called on those residing close to River Bank’s to move to higher ground and thanked the state government for being proactive to victims of the flood.
Special Apos Olaniyan also called on the federal and state government to establish IDP Camps to ensure safety of victims that have nowhere to relocate.
The number One Christian in Kogi State appealed to spirited individuals and organisation to donate generously for the up keep of brothers and sisters affected in the flood.
