The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Dr Ado Ibrahim (CON), has finally bowed to pressure and has corrected the noticed anomaly in his reply to a query issued to him by the Kogi State Government for Insubordination.
Recalled that the Paramount Traditional Ruler failed to welcome and attend the reception organiseed for him by the state government during his visit to the State to Commission some legacy projects.
He was issued a query by the Government and asked to reply within 48 hours. While replying he used the title of the Attah Ebira, a title the State Government described as alien to law.
In line with normalcy and in conformity with the Kogi State Chieftaincy law, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Dr Ado Ibrahim (CON), has written his earlier response to his query to correct the alien “Atta Ebira” to OHINOYI OF EBIRALAND which is known and recognized by the law.
With the correction of the title the procedural requirement of the query, continues.
The Ohinoyi’s reply letter to the query was received today dated 17 January, 2023.
