FELELE RESIDENTS CRY OVER LOW CURRENT ELECTRICITY

Residents of Felele lokoja Kogi state express deep dissatisfaction over the low current electricity experienced for over a week, call for urgent attention and rectification.
Residents especially Students of Federal University lokoja who stay at back of second NNPC Felele have complained bitterly on the hardship faced for the past weeks due to low current electricity.
According to an anonymous whose identity is withheld for reasons best known to him, the low current electricity is just for illumination, it can’t power the basic home appliances talk more of the sumo machine for pumping well treated water.
Going further he explained how some people have resorted into using well waters which in turn have caused a lot of skin disease to those who can’t afford detol due to its unhealthy nature. Others trek a long distance to buy water from those who use generator to power their pumping machine.This is a serious call for action because Felele is becoming inconvenient due to lokoja’s hot weather.
“We call on the state government and all those whose authority is within this purvew to please come to our aid and rectify whatever might have caused this low current ” He stated.
Felele community is where federal university lokoja’s main campus is located hence the need for urgent attention and rectification as a lot of students and families reside here.
