Hon. Omonu Joshua former Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Yahaya Bello on Student 
Affairs has cautioned opposition parties in Kogi State to desist from misinforming Kogites and Nigerians in general with false and highly malicious news especially as the Kogi November 11 gubernatorial election draws closer.
The former aide lamented the rumors that made the round earlier today in the State, described the wicked and satanic thought of the opposition as highly unnecessary.
Hon. Omonu assured of a convincing victory for the All Progressive Congress at the November gubernatorial poll, warned against inciting comments by the opposition.
“Let it be clearly stated that His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, The Executive Governor of Kogi State is fully in charge and anyone who thinks false news will be their best tactics to cause unnecessary distractions and panic in the state is only but dreaming and should be quick to wake up from such hallucination.
” GYB is fully in charge, he is hale and hearty, his presence in the state has proven beyond doubts for even his greatest enemies to see and be convinced. Hence, those behind the genesis for fake news and evil wishes to His Excellency, should bury their faces in shame for such act is never anywhere close to giving them victory at the poll. Governor Yahaya Bello will match us to overwhelming democratic victory by God’s grace.”
This style is cheap and remains outdated and it should be vehemently discouraged. The hands behind the spread of fake and unverified yet misleading news should desist with immediate effect.
“Again, all those who wish evil to Governor Yahaya Bello, should know this in clear terms that the life of Governor Yahaya Bello and his success is only in the hands of God Almighty and no any any man’s. Hence, fighting him and wishing him evil amounts to fighting God because one with God is Majority and this is who GYB is.”
Hon. Omonu further assured of landslide victory for the party’s gubernatorial candidate Alhaji Ahmed Ododo and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo at the November poll, reiterated the party’s readiness to coast home to victory while expressing confidence on the full time leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello who has always shown sterling leadership capabilities.
Hon. Omonu praised the leadership qualities of Gov. Bello, urged him to sustain his efforts in infrastructure development, described the Ododo Joel ticket as what the people of Kogi State needs after the administration of Gov Bello.
