Executive Secretary, Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, Dr Adekunle Aledare hails Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo’s health insurance for pensioners earning below #50,000
The Executive Secretary Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, Dr Adekunle Aledare has commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the magnanimity showered on the pensioners in the state. The governor in a recent statement assured of his commitment to the welfare of Pensioners by providing free health insurance coverage for the low income pensioners who are vulnerable. The governor also assured that he will continue to bring up policies that can reduce the financial pains being experienced by vulnerable persons in the state.
The governor also directed the management of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency (KGSHIA) to liase with the state chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners to fast track the on boarding of other pensioners earning above #50,000
Dr Aledare applauded His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the unwavering support of his people oriented administration in actualizing the mandate of the agency to provide financial risk protection to residents of Kogi State geared towards the attainment of Universal Health Coverage.
