The Executive Secretary National Commission For Person’s With Disabilities, James Lalu was today honored with the award of the Most Resourceful Personality in Nigeria.
The Executive Secretary was honoured by Stewardship Global News Limited, in Lokoja,
at the 2022 Special Public Lecture and Award Ceremony of the Magazine with the theme: A New Nigeria is Possible.
The Executive Secretary was represented at the event by his Special Assistant on Technical, Barr. Yusuf Yodo. The Representative of the Executive Secretary, was received by a large member of PWD, critical stakeholders across all the different clusters.
Though the Executive Secretary, National Commission For Person’s With Disabilities was unavailably absent, he is in the entourage of President Mohammadu Buhari to the USA to attend a UN function.
Speaking at the presentation of the award, the Chief of Staff, to Kogi state Government, Pharm Jamiu Asuku, who presented the award on behalf of Stewardship News Magazine, described James Lalu as a positive in the disability community, pointing out that his reign has been rewarding as it has brought inclusiveness in all areas of socio economic development for PWDs.
They commended him for his innovation in the area of capacity building for members, thus making them think outside the box and to be self reliant, reason why he was honoured as the most Resourceful Personality in Nigeria.
