There was jubilation in Kogi Local Government as Engr. Bashiru Gegu today reunited with his Leader, Hon Saidu Akawu Salihu (SAS), former Commissioner For Budget and Water Resources in Kogi State.
The Commissioner who was reunited with the former House of Assembly Member, described the reunion as the signpost of greater things to come.
Engr. Gegu said he might have offended the former lawmaker directly or indirectly but wish for forgiveness and asked him to forget his trespasses, described Hon. Akawu as his leader said he cannot hide from the fact, described him as an upright Leader.
In his response, Hon. Akawu proclaimed that all divisive tendencies or gap is now a thing of the past described ODODO as project that is work in progress.
Hon. Akawu assured that Ododo is going to be victorious, urged the Incoming Governor to bridge all gaps for the sake of Oneness.
The APC Governorship flagbearer, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo thanked Hon. Akawu for being an upright leader and also commended him for grooming a loyal and capacity subordinate in Engr Gegu.
Ododo promised not to let Kogi LGA citizens down if elected, assured that the future holds more than enough benefits for the people.
The team that led to the reconciliation was led by Hon Ozigi Momodu Deedat, Hon Commissioner of Information and Communication, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, spokesman of the State Government.
