Enemona Foundation provides Iftar for Muslims In Mosques Across Kogi East.


 

As muslems wind down fasting ahead of the Sallah celebration, Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation commenced the donation of food to fasting Muslims in Kogi East for breaking of their fast.

The food items were donated to the central mosque in Anyigba, Ankpa and Idah Central mosques on 24th, 25th and 26th April 2022 respectively with other local governments central mosque been targeted.

The Foundation’s President Ambassador Gabriel Enemona David Onoja who was represented by the Executive Director , Mr. Williams Enemali Illah urged the fasting Muslims to use the holy month to pray for peace, unity, prosperity of Igala land and pray for all round blessings on the founder whom he described as selfless humanitarian

The Executive Director in his separate messages at Anyigba, Ankpa and Idah had noted that boss, Amb. Gabriel Onoja even though a Christian and equally not a politician, believes that doing this will further cement the christian-Muslem relationship in the state

In his exact words, Williams said ” Our founder believes we are all serving the same Almighty God and that religion is merly an earthly division.”

He added that “Being religious does not take anyone to heaven or paradise, only being Godly can; therefore, he has asked me to deliver cooked food to the fasting Muslims for iftar”

“We have contracted a cook who will be bringing the food to the various benefiting mosques just like the one before you right now and this will continue till the end of the Ramadan Fast.” he concluded.

The Imams in their separate remarks, appreciated President of the Foundation and the members of the foundation for such worthy and rewarding course.

The Imams cited various verses of Qur’an and Hadith where Allah and prophet Muhammad enjoined giving to the needy and other works of charity.

They prayed for increase in wealth, long life and Allah’s protection for Ambassador Gabriel Onoja with commendation to the team from the Foundation’s office who were professional in the discharge of thier function.

Over the past five months, Gabriel Onoja has embarked on week to week no stop humanitarian activities in parts of Kogi State.
