The Presentation of staff of office and Coronation of the Emir of Kagara, Alhaji Ahmad Garba Attahiru II, have been slated for December 3, 2022 in Kagara town of Rafi local Government area in Niger State.
In a statement credited to the Coronation and Presentation of staff of Office committee said,His Excellency the Governor of Niger state, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello is to serve as the Special quest of Honour at the ceremony.
Other’s that are expected to grace the Coronation ceremony is the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar CFR who would serve as the Royal father and Estu Nupe and the Chairman Niger state Council of traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar will serves at the Coronation as the Chìef Host
Among distinguished personalities expected at the event include Prominent Traditional Rulers and title holders across the country,State and Federal functionaries are also expected to grace the occasion.
The statement also says that the Emirate which in the recent past witnessed banditry and other insecurities,the statement stressed that relatives peace have so far return to the Emirate.
They assures the visitors and the general public of the State Government preparedness to provide adquate security during and after the Coronation ceremony.
