Electoral C’ttee reviews timetable for Kogi NYCN election, form sales/submissions end midnight 19th July


 

The electoral committee for the forthcoming election into offices of the Kogi State National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has intensified arrangements for the exercise with a stakeholders’ meeting to review the timetable held on Saturday in Lokoja.

This was contained in a circular signed and released by the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Comrade Isah Onimisi Babangida in Lokoja.

According to the reviewed schedule, sales and submission of nomination forms will end on Monday, 19th July, 2021 at the Youth House, Lokoja, while screening of aspirants has been scheduled to come up between Friday and Saturday 23rd – 24th July, 2021 by 10: am at the same venue.

Any form of appeal that may arise from the process is expected to heard on Monday, 26th of July and is to be followed by the release of List of Contestants from the screening on Tuesday, 27th of July, 2021.

The circular also maintained that procedure for form purchase is still valid, noting that delegate accreditation/elective congress will come up on Wednesday and Thursday 28 and 29th July.
