Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has called on Muslims in the state to imbibe the spirit of complete submission to Allah as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
The organization gave the advice in a message to mark the celebration of Eidil Adha.
The Islamic body used the opportunity to call for continued peace in the state adding that there is no alternative to peaceful co- existence.
JNI also congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and members of his cabinet for the opportunity to witness yet another Eid, stressing the need for sustained prayers for the growth of Kogi State.
The statement further urged Muslims to celebrate the Eid with sober reflections and decorum.
The statement was jointly signed by the State Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretay, Alhaji Isa Adeboye.
