Eid-Fitr: Maigari Of Lokoja Urges Muslims To Upholds Ramadan Teachings
The Maigari of Lokoja, Chairman Lokoja Local Government Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, has called on the Muslim faithful to uphold the teachings and values instilled during Ramadan and integrate them into their daily lives for the betterment of society.
The Monarch stated this in a goodwill message to felicitate with the Muslim Ummah in the state as they join others across the globe to celebrate the Eid el-Fitr, marking the conclusion of this year’s Ramadan.
Kabir urged Muslims ummah towards collective prayer, unity and resilience amid prevailing economic challenges, assuring that the current difficulties are transient stressing that with the human development programme in the state under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo better days lie ahead.
He also enjoined the Muslims Ummah to sustain the devotion and other acts of worship observed during the holy month as well as imbibe the lessons learnt during Tafsir sessions for the good of the religion, society and humanity.
The two Raka’at Which was led by the Chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Muhammadu Aminu Sha’aban, was attended by traditional title holders, top government officials and thousands of Muslims worshipers.
