Lokoja/Kogi House of Reps Member, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim MHR; has tasked muslim ummahs in the constituency to pray for the peace of Nigeria.
He made this charge in his sallah message to them. According to the lawmaker; “The time of Eid-el-Kabir is a time for us to remember the essence of sacrifice as muslim faithfuls.
“As we celebrate, I want us to remember our nation Nigeria. It is going through a trying time at the moment. Let us pray for Nigeria, let us pray for peace to reign again to Nigeria,” the statement read in part.
While presenting rams and cash as sallah gifts to constituents, he urged them to imbibe in themselves the spirit of sacrifice and charity.
