Mall. Momoh Jibril,
Board Member, Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), on Thursday, urged Nigerians, especially Muslims, to reach out to the less privileged as they are celebrating this year’s El-el-Kabir.

Mall. Jibrin, in a Sallah message, further urged faithful to continue to promote peace, unity and understanding among all citizens, congratulated Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo and former Gov Yahaya Bello for witnessing yet another Eid El Kabir celebration in good health and prosperity.

He said, “As we celebrate Eid-el-kabir, may the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and gratitude guide us. I pray that the blessings of Allah continue to shine upon us. I commend the Muslim community for their devotion and resilience.

“I want to encourage Muslims to embrace the spirit of empathy and charity by reaching out to the less privileged and people of other faiths during this festive season as a way of enhancing bonds of friendship and brotherhood that promote tolerance, peace and solidarity.”

Mall Jibrin admonished faithful to use the celebration to re-dedicate themselves to peace, security, friendship and practice the virtue of Islam, as professed by the Prophet Mohammad.

He urged Nigerians to use the joyous occasion to pray for Nigerian leaders, peace, progress and socio-economic development of the country.

“What is needed by all Nigerians is patience and full support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration to be able to accelerate the pace of progress and the desired comprehensive development of Nigeria.

“We should all resolve to live in peace and unity in our great country, which should be the topmost priority of our nation”, he added.
