Eid El Kabir: Engr. Bashiru Gegu calls for sacrifice, prayers.

 

The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Bashiru Gegu has stressed the need for Muslims across the State, particularly Kogi LGA to pray for the State, just as it called for total sacrifice from all.

According to the Commissioner, “We are confident that with prayers and the needed sacrifices, Allah will show us mercy and intervene to solve our current economic challenges in the country.”

In a message signed by the Commissioner, Engr. Gegu said, ” Kogi State under the leadership of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo is desirous of doing things differently”.

” Let me use the occasion of the Eid El Kabir to call on Muslim faithful to intensify prayers for the success of the administration”.

” Without mincing words, the present administration has shown capacity and tremendous interest in uniting the various segments of the State”.

” All we owe the administration is total support and absolute cooperation so that it can deliver the much desired democracy dividends to the people”.

The Commissioner urged faithful to celebrate the festival with modesty and total submission to the will of Allah, pointing out that the time to be there brothers keeper is now.

The Commissioner congratulated Nigerian Muslims and other faithful across the State on this occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir, congratulated them for witnessing yet another celebration of Eid el Kabir.

“However, as we celebrate Allah’s benevolence, it is important for us to pause and reflect on the significance of this celebration, which highlights the need for sacrifice and the benefits thereof.

Engr. Bashiru Gegu congratulated former Gov Yahaya Bello, Gov. Ododo and wished all faithful in the State a prosperous celebration.
