Eid-el-Kabir: Babarinde Oloke Urges Unity, Sacrifice, Hope Among Mopamuro, Kogi Residents

The Accord Party candidate for Mopamuro State Constituency in the forthcoming 2027 Kogi State House of Assembly election, Hon. Babarinde Oloke, has called on residents of Mopamuro Local Government Area and Kogi State to embrace unity, sacrifice, and hope as Muslims across the country celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival.
Oloke made the call in a goodwill message released to journalists on the occasion of the Islamic celebration, where he felicitated with Muslim faithful and urged them to reflect on the values of love, obedience, tolerance, and selflessness which Eid-el-Kabir symbolizes.
According to him, the season serves as a reminder of the need for Nigerians to remain steadfast, supportive of one another, and committed to the collective progress of their communities despite prevailing economic and social challenges.
“Eid-el-Kabir is a sacred period that teaches us the virtues of sacrifice, faith, compassion, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah. It also reminds us of our shared responsibility to promote peace, unity, and development within our society,” he stated.
The Mopamuro Assembly hopeful further urged political leaders, community stakeholders, and citizens to work together in fostering harmony and sustainable development across the constituency and Kogi State at large.
Oloke reaffirmed his commitment to people-oriented leadership, grassroots development, youth empowerment, and effective representation, noting that his aspiration to represent Mopamuro Constituency is driven by a genuine desire to improve the welfare of the people.
He also prayed for peace, prosperity, and continued progress in Mopamuro Local Government Area, Kogi State, and Nigeria, while wishing Muslim faithful a peaceful and fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
