The Provost, College of Education Technical Kabba, Mrs Victoria Olusola Jagboro has appealed to Muslims to sustain the lessons of Ramadan and replicate same in their daily lives for a better society.
She gave the advise in a statement, urged the faithful not to be carried away by only the pageantry of the Sallah, but to use it for sober reflection.
While emphasising the importance of peace, unity and tolerance among Nigerians, Mrs. Victoria urged everyone to extend hands of support to the needy in the society as well as pray for a prosperous nation.
The Provost said peace and harmonious co-existence was fundamental for the envisaged growth and development to take place, noting that it is only in an atmosphere devoid of rancour that development thrives, said it should be a basis for peaceful coexistence.
Mrs. Victoria specially congratulated Gov Yahaya Bello, the APC Flagbearer for the November governorship election, prayed God for prosperity for the State now and in the coming future.
Mrs. Victoria congratulated Muslims for witnessing yet another Eid El Fitr, wished the Management, Staff and Students of the Institution a wonderful Eid El Fitr celebration.
