As Muslims across Nigeria celebrate the Eid-el-fitr, Kogi State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris urged all Muslim brothers and Sisters across Nigeria to continue to uphold the tenets of sacrifice.
According to him, the importance of Ramadan and the sacrifice therein far outweighs material gains,thus the need to use the period of the Eid el fitri celebration to offer special prayers for Allah’s blessings, wisdom and guidance.
In a Sallah felicitation message made available to journalists by Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris media office, the business man and Politician congratulated Muslim Faithfuls for witnessing another end of Ramadan.
His words : “I give thanks to Allah for giving us another opportunity to witness this year’s Ramadan. I also give thanks to Allah for making it possible for us to see the end of the Ramadan.”
While wishing people of Kogi State Happy ‘Eid -el-fitr celebration’, he however, prayed that Allah accepts the prayers and sacrifices offered during the Ramadan period.
