Eid-el-Fitr: Hon. Aboh Urges Muslims to Uphold Spirit of Charity, Unity
Hon. Chief (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh, the Immediate Past Chairman of Omala Local Government Area and current Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Environment, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message issued in Lokoja, the state capital, Aboh urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of love, peace, and tolerance imbibed during the Ramadan period. He emphasized the importance of sustaining the spirit of sacrifice, generosity, and unity beyond the festive season.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I enjoin all Muslims to reflect on the lessons of Ramadan and continue to promote harmony and goodwill in any society we find ourselves,” he stated.
The Special Adviser who further reiterated his dedication to environmental sustainability in line with the state government’s agenda, also commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Kogites and called for continued support for government policies aimed at fostering development across the state.
He also prayed for peace, prosperity, and divine guidance for the Kogi state governor, the people of Kogi and Nigeria at large.
