Eid-el-Fitr: Engr. Bashiru Gegu Felicitates with  Muslims, Gov. Ododo

The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Bashiru Gegu has sent a message of felicitations to Muslims on the auspicious occasion of the 2024 Eid El Fitr celebration.

In his message issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, Engr. Bashiru Gegu enjoined Nigerians, especially Muslims in Kogi LGA to take advantage of the spiritual rebirth offered by Ramadan to promote love, peace, unity and progress.

Engr Bashiru Gegu in the message felicitated with Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo, former Gov Yahaya Bello and other Muslim faithful for the successful completion of Ramadan.

He emphasised the compelling need for all Nigerians to continue to live in peace and harmony as well as offer special prayers for the country with Kogi State and the present administration in particular.

The Commissioner stressed that it is only when Nigerians particularly Kogites live to cherish one another that “we can make rapid progress and strengthen the bond that brought us together as a prosperous State, in keeping with the dreams and aspirations of our founding fathers.”

He, therefore, wished Nigerians, Kogites , particularly Muslims in Kogi LGA a pleasant and peaceful celebration.

“There is no better time to show love and togetherness than now when we are joining forces in building This is why it is remarkable that the bond among our people is growing amid these very difficult times.”
