EFCC Vs Yahaya Bello: Stop Passing Judgment in Your Bedroom Court

– BY MUHAMMED BELLO ADOKE (SAN) Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the Federation.

There are parts to the whole saga that most of you don’t know. Do you know Yahaya Bello has a court injunction restraining EFCC from arresting or harassing him? Do you know same EFCC appeal the injunction in which the judgement is expected to be served on the 22nd of this month.. meaning this coming Monday?

The question most impartial intellects should ask now is “why did the same EFCC refused to wait for the outcome of the appeal”? Why did the agency flaunt the court order?

If it’s not political witchunt why being in a hurry to arrest him? If you have such injunction, will you as an individual who seek the injunction now flaunt same injunction and present yourself to the EFCC when their is an existing order against it?

It’s baffling to see people who knows nothing about it all, writing long notes and making mockery of their sense of fair judgement and critical analysis on what they know nothing about.

GYB is not guilty until found guilty. Stop passing judgment in your bedroom court, the constitution does not recognize it and will never do.
