By joshua EDOGIS Open Offices In Two More Senatorial Zones

As efforts to get its services closer to the grassroots, the Edo State Geographic Information Service ( EDOGIS) said it has opened two new offices across the state.
This was contained in a press statement issued by Tunde Egbiremolen, Director of Information, EDOGIS and made available to newsmen on Monday in Benin
He disclosed that the offices are in Ekpoma in Edo central and another in Auchi Edo North respectively.
According to the Director of Information , the Edo State Geographic Information Service (EDOGIS) is mandated to administer land resources in the state through computerizing land across the state
He noted that Governor Monday Okpebholo administration has found it necessary to take the services to the grassroots, because of his desire to reduce land crisis amongst the citizenry
According to him, “The Edo State Geographic Information Service (EDOGIS) office in Ekpoma is located at the Esan West Local Government Council Secretariat along Ekpoma – Benin expressway and Auchi office is at Etsako West Local Government Secretariat building Auchi”, he concluded .
