The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has described the birthday of the Ohimegye Igu Kingdom, HRM, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu
as another unique opportunity to celebrate and appreciate the Traditional Ruler’s accomplishments in uniting the people of the Kingdom.
The Commissioner in a message of felicitations to the Royal Father on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, wished him a joyous and prosperous birthday anniversary.
The Commissioner described His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu as one traditional Ruler who has impacted positively on the Kingdom in no small measures since his assumption.
He expressed happiness that his sense of leadership to reposition the Kingdom stands him out, described His Royal Majesty as a goal getter, pointed out that he has proven to be a worthy Traditional Ruler of repute.
He said the Traditional Ruler’s birthday not only affords him the opportunity to celebrate the passing of another remarkable year for the Ohimegye, added that his remarkable legacies thus far is commendable.
He urged the Royal Father to continue to build on the growth and development of the Kingdom by ensuring that the feat he has thus far attained in attracting infrastructure and human development is sustained.
The Commissioner while eulogizing the visionary qualities of Royal Father commended him for always placing the welfare of the people his topmost priority.
He said the impact and immeasurable contributions of the Royal Father has impacted greatly on countless lives in the Kingdom amidst peace and tranquility.
