The State Working Committee of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Edo state has lfted the suspension placed on his chairman ,Hon. Tony Aziegbemi.
Hon. Tony Aziegbemi, was suspended few weeks ago by the state Working Committee for gross misconduct by brewing unnecessary tension and disunity among party members in the state in a manner akin to bringing the party into disrepute.
In a release today, the State Publicity Secretary, Chris Osa Nehikhare, said, ” after its working committee meeting called to deliberate on the report of the Investigative Committee set up to investigate the allegations of gross misconduct against its Chairman, Hon. Tony Aziegbemi, has been exonerated and acquited .
Adding that, ‘the Chairman, Hon. Tony Aziegbemi will resume his office with immediate effect.
“We thank all party members, supporters and leaders for their cooperation and support during this period of self audit.
