A Socio Political Group, Concerned Edo Citizens Forum.( CEC), said the Esan Agenda is an integral part of Edo Agenda which is advocating and urging all Political parties in Edo State to as a matter of inclusiveness, equality, fairness and justice zone the governorship ticket to Edo Central Senatorial District.

Mr. Osawonyi Ibude executive Secretary and
Mr. Endurance Doris’s, said , is EDO AGENDA and not Esan Agenda, because over the years the good people of Edo Central has joined others to demonstrate uncommon love to all candidates vying for Governor in Edo State.
This call become necessary inview of the uniqueness of Edo people in political development, which has made Edo State to be cynosure of all eyes in Nigeria.
The zoning of the Governorship ticket to Edo Central at this material time is very necessary and pertinent because it will further promote unity of purpose and oneness.
The group said, “as concerned Citizens of Edo State we hereby call on all political parties in Edo State to as matter of inclusiveness, equity, fairness and justice zone the Governorship ticket to Edo Central”.
Adding that, “As we approach the next election, we appreciate the present Government under the hegemony of Mr. Godwin Obaseki for the great works to reposition our dear state for greatness, we are indeed impressed with his performance hence, we call on all sons and daughters of Edo State to see this zoning mechanism to Edo Central senatorial distinct as EDO AGENDA not Esan Agenda, because over the years the good people of Edo Central has demonstrated uncommon love to all candidates vying for Governor in Edo State.”
CEC further stated that, There’s no single senatorial distinct that can produce Governor without the support of all therefore, we appeal accordingly because the advantages supercede the demerits if the zoning method is embrace by all in Edo State.
They also called on the good people of Edo Central to be more strategic and embrace reaching methodology to all, there are over a thousands and one persons who are qualified to run or contest the Governorship ticket in Edo State.
Further more, we appealed on both Edo South Senatorial distinct and Edo North to as matter of oneness and togetherness help Edo Central to achieve this set goal. As critical stallholders in Edo State and Edo project,we shall continue to mobilize and set up contact committee to fast track this wonderful opportunity for the betterment of Edo State.
Concluding, they pleaded with every Edo person to join hand to make Edo agenda/ Esan agenda possible and also call on all aspirants to work within the laws of the land.
