Edo 2024: Engr. Gideon Ikhine Begins Gubernatorial Campaign Ambition In Esan West

As the race for the 2024 governorship election draws near, a Frontline aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Engr Gideon Ikhine on Sunday formally kicked off his gubernatorial ambition in his Esan West Local Government Council Area.

Engr. Ikhine expressed his gratitude to the party leadership and members for their warm welcome and shared his motivation for seeking the party’s nomination to contest the 2024 governorship election.

In his address to the enthusiastic crowd of supporters, Engr. Ikhine unveiled his comprehensive plans for the development of Edo State and called on the people to rally behind him in order to alleviate the state’s current debt burden.

” I appeal to you all to vote and nominate me as a candidate of our party come February 2024.I therefore need the support of all the people to succeed in actualizing the dream of being the number one citizen of the state”.

Ikhine expressed happiness over the reception accorded him by his people, a feeling he described as satisfactory and fulfilling.

He said ” I want to sincerely thank you all my fathers, Mothers, brothers and sisters for the way you have all continue to show me uncommon love and support which have over the years push me to achieve all that I have achieved.”

He further express optimism to clinching the party’s ticket as well as emerging Victorious at the Governorship election slated for September 2024.

Barr. Festus Ehiemua, the Ward 7 chairman in Esan West, commended Engr. Gideon Ikhine for his unwavering dedication to the APC. He congratulated him and encouraged him to maintain a steadfast commitment to engaging with leaders at the ward and local government levels across the state.

He assured Engr. Ikhine of Ward 7 unwavering support and urged other leaders to join in endorsing his candidacy.

Also Mr. Godday Okhilu, the Esan West APC chairman, extended words of encouragement to Engr. Ikhine and offered his prayers for success in his aspiration to become the next governor of Edo State
