EBIRA YOUTH CONGRESS CHARGES GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO TO BOND HIS WORDS TO EBIRA YOUTHS: CONGRESSIONAL COMMUNIQUE

1. Ebira Youth Congress (EYC) laments the unfortunate non-redemption of the N300m pledge made to Ebira Education Trust Fund during the epic Ebira Education Summit organized by Ebira Youth Congress (EYC) at Lokoja in December 2020.
2. This fate since leaves a lot to ponder at the grassroot given the incubation of a failed hatchery of the pledge in the loud-silent interim of 3 years running.
3. The general Congress of EYC equally factor in the incrimination of the Kogi Central system lieutenants, whose pledged 5% cumulative monthly earnings subsequently snowballed into laughable intrigues and jokes. And expectedly, the dogged pivot of our millieu to equally checkmate any reckless predetermination should be chiseled in the face of a hapless push.
4. Every circumstance in the semblance of toying with emotions of such a dedicated assemblage of Ebira youths from all quarters at Lokoja in December 2020 should ordinarily have been avoided and most sincerely.
5. EYC still aches from the Trade Test for artisans among Ebira youths, which approval was secured from the government house in 2020, the certificates which are still lying at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment without the needful release of fund for claim.
6. The zero attention confronting the tripartite plights of N300m, 5% remittances and Trade Test of our youths since 2020 can only tantamount to an extremely sad commentary to behold, given the youthful age bracket of our governor and most lieutenants, and as we also cannot continue to languish in the clutches of such ‘eternity’ while still keeping kinsmen at the echelon. Hence, the cry!
7. While EYC envisages urgent and careful review of these claims, the Congress however uses the medium to commend his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Kogi State Governor for his relentless strides on basic infrastructure, security architecture and most cogently, his succession pointer bearing Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on whose mandate we all shall stand!
Signed:
Obiyo Ateiza Aliyu,
President-General,
Ebira Youth Congress (EYC).
