Easter: Onogie Afemai Lokoja, HRH Alhaji ZA Dangana Sues For Prayers, Love and Peaceful Coexistence
The Onogie of Afemai in Lokoja, Kogi State, HRH Alhaji ZA Dangana has called on Christians to promote peace, love, and reconciliation.
In his Easter message, the Onogie of Afemai in Lokoja, congratulated sons and daughters of Afemai for witnessing yet another Easter, urged them to reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and imbibe the values of kindness and unity.
“As we reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ, let us pray for peace in our homes and harmony in our nation,” he said.
The Onogie called on Christian leaders also urged religious, traditional, and community leaders to intensify efforts toward promoting peace, unity, and tolerance across the nation.
“Leaders at all levels must rise to the occasion by fostering unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among our people,” they added.
The Traditional Ruler praise Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for creating an enabling environment for peace, urge for citizens support for the administration.
He emphasised that the message of Easter remains one of hope, renewal, and resilience, encouraging Christians not to lose faith in the face of adversity.
