The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State Mrs Arike Folashade Ayoade PhD, has called on Christians in this Easter festive period to remain faithful in the teachings of the faith they profess, stating that the death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary is the redemption price for the salvation of mankind.
Ayoade who made this call, admonish christians to emulate the life of Jesus Christ which portrays, Love, tolerance, prayers, peace and faithfulness and to also serve as each other’s brother’s keepers.
She pray that may the death of Christ which is the price for the salvation of mankind, not be in futility in our lives, calling on God to shower upon mankind his divine grace, love and protection.
Also, Dr. Ayoade beseeched Christians to always stay on their kneels in prayers to God calling on him to direct and guide our political, religious, economic and cultural leaders right. She noted that there is nothing difficult to present to God the almighty through prayers.
