Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative Facilitates Payment of WAEC Fee For Indigent Student.


 

As part of her efforts to support indigent children acquire education, the Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative has helped in facilitating the payment of WAEC fee for an 18 Year old indigent student.

 

Pastor Mrs Roseline Alabi, Executive Director, Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative made the disclosure while handing over the sum of N50,000 to the indigent student, said the WAEC fee was paid by a Nigerian based in the USA.

Mrs. Alabi said Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative has been supporting the student who has been orphaned since age 7 with the payment of school fees.

” The boy was to finish secondary School this year but because of the inability to pay for WAEC fee, he couldn’t graduate with his mates. But now that God has sent a helper to him, he would be registered for the next year WAEC.

Mrs. Alabi expressed appreciation to the donor for being a Philanthropist, thanked him for also promising to fund the University Education of the indigent student.

The Executive Director Dual Care And HIV Prevention Initiative, used the opportunity to call on well to do Nigerians to show support to the vulnerable and indigent in the society.

Mrs. Alabi stressed that one way to make the society a better place to live in is for the haves to support the have not explaining that, with the support by the Nigerian living in the USA, the indigent student has hope of fulfilling his dreams and aspirations.

Mrs. Alabi thanked the caregivers and many others who have been supportive to meeting the well-being of indigent children under the Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative.

In appreciation of the money for the WAEC registration, the highly elated boy thanked God for the good Samaritan sent to him through DCI.

According to him, “I thought my education has stopped. But glory be to God Almighty, I’ll be continuing my education to write WAEC next year not minding the one year I lost”, cried and burst into tears of joy. The boy prayed for the donor, asking that God should meet him at his point of needs.
