The former House of Representatives Aspirant and Chairman, Kogi APPEALS in his determination to ensure the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s President, Engr Abubakar Ohere as Kogi Central Senator, Hon Ahmed Tijani (Oliver) as Okene/Ogori Magongo House of Representatives and as well for all other APC Candidates for State House of Assembly in the forthcoming election, has rounded up his Door-to-Door campaigns across the 21 Wards in Okene/ Ogori Magongo Constituency.
The movement, led by #Team_Ozomata, was at the palace of Ohi of Okene, Hrh Alh. Mamman Isah and Ohi of Okengwe, Hrh Alh Ahmad Tijani Anaje and other District Heads to extend salutation to the royal fathers.
Speaking to reporters during the Door2Door exercise, Dr Ozomata said the essence of the visit was to campaign for the APC and and all her candidates by sensitising the people at the grassroots on the need for peace, avoidance of rice and beans at the polling unit, knowing the technicalities of thumbprinting for various candidates during the February 25 Presidential, NASS and the 11th match State House of Elections.
Dr Ozomata described the former Lagos State Governor as “a man that can move Nigeria forward, a man that can make Nigeria great again,” stressing that the ‘Renewed Hope’ slogan of the party “is going to take Nigeria to greater heights”.
Dr Ozomata also expressed that the track records of Tinubu as former governor of Lagos were matchless, of which Engr. Abubakar Ohere as one time Special Adviser for Chieftaincy Affairs and Commissioner for Works can be likened to him, adding that Tinubu and Ohere have captured the aspirations of the youths and women in their manifesto, which are very inclusive with a promise to secure the future of all Nigerians and Kogi Central indigens.
“We have my brother and friend, Hon. AhmadTijani Adinoyi Ozigi (TAO) as the candidate of House of Representatives. I thus beseech that the vote you would have given me if I was the candidate for Reps, give it to him”, he admonished.
“Let’s also recall that, the maxim is to” sweep it clean”, we must therefore ensure the assembly candidates such as Hon. Abdulrazaq Sariki in Okene 1, Hon. Yusuf Zakari in Okene 2 and Hon. Maj. Olafimihan Akerejola in Ogori Magongo are all voted massively.
Among the stakeholders that joined in the movement or converged at some points are the former State APC Chairman, Hon. Haddy Ametuo, the APC Zonal Chairman, Hon. Animoku, the Ogori-Magongo LGA Chairman, Hon. Goke Oparison, The Okene APC Chairman, Hon Yakubu Gowon, the Senior Special Assistant on Youths and Women Mobilization, Hon. Halidu Abdullahi Kadoka, some SSAs and SAs to Governor Yahaya Bello, some Councilors and likewise other key stakeholders at the Grassroots.
Some of the Grassroots representatives while reacting to Dr Ozomata’s visit, said “they have never witnessed such a Democrat like him who will lost out in a primary election having spent enough resources and will still take it upon himself to reinforce his strength financially and otherwise to further touch people’s lives positively in a campaign for all candidates despite not the chosen one”. They invoked God to make the future better and favourable for Dr Ozomata and his Team.
