A stalwart of the ruling All progressives Congress in Kogi State, Doctor Halima Alfa has lauded Governor Yahaya Bello for elevating Political status of the women folk by according them deserved recognition.
Doctor Halima gave the commendation on the side line of the consensus reached and the eventual victory of Women as Vice Chairmen , Sixty-three councilors,as well as twenty-one council leaders all Female in the twenty-one local government councils of State.
She added that for the first time in the history of the country that a serving leader will acknowledged the pivotal roles of Women and rewards them insisting that Governor Yahaya Bello had fulfilled the 1994 Benjin conference which called for 35-affirmative .
Doctor Halima who is also a board of trustees member of the Pan African Group ‘Arewa Consultative Forum said the Governor has demonstrated his sincere passion to involve Women and Youth actively participate in governance .
She advised Women and Youths to reciprocate the Governor’s kind gesture to demonstrate high sense of hardwork, dedication, and absolute loyaty by propangating the new direction policy and ensure it success
Doctor Halima Alfa also urged Nigerian Women and Youths to accord their unwavering support to the project 2023 by supporting the Governor’s Presidential ambition as a leader whom projection is about them.
