DR. BENITO BAGS UNITED NATIONS AWARD

An Assistant Commandant General (ACG) in the Directorate of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Dr. Benito Eze Mni, has been honored as a peace Ambassador of the United Nations.
Dr. Beneto Eze was inducted alongside other eminent, Patriotic and Peace loving Nigerians at an International Summit for peace Practitioners General Assembly,2024, Induction/ Award Ceremony, with the theme, “actions for Peace: our ambition for the Global Goals ,” Organization by the Advanced Peace And Reconciliation Center, Nigeria, a Center affiliated to the United Nations, held at the Nigeria National Merit Award House, Maitama Abuja, Saturday September 21st,2024.
Reacting to the gesture accorded him Shortly after he was inducted, the Security Chief said he was elated for the honour done him by the prestigious organization, pointing out that the Award was a mark of honour and recognition for his Contributions to peaceful and harmonious Coexistence in Nigeria and the world at large.
Dr. Benito mni Commended the Advanced Peace And Reconciliation Center Nigeria,to have found him Worthy for the Peace Ambassador’s Award, further stressing that the Award Conferred on him would Propelled him to Continue to Concentrate and devout his time in peace building, re Reconciliation, towards a world devoid of Conflict.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Center, Dr. ( Amb) Okocha Morgan emphasized that, the world today was in need of Peace Practitioners, Reconciliators, Mediators Counselors like never before, Considering the Conflicts and War that is Currently ravaging humanity, he asserted, he urged the newly inducted peace Ambassadors to justify the Confidence reposed in them by Sustaining the virtue that earned them the Award.
Continuing, ACG Benito pledged to use the honour accorded him to impacts the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps and the entire humanity in general.
” As you all know, we safeguard National Assets and Infrastructure, by this alone I am already impacting lives and by extension humanity , so the Award accorded me is a wakeup Call for more Service for the Peace, Progress and development of our Nation”.
