The public is hereby informed that no Board of Trustees meeting held on 17th of April 2021. The meeting that was held at the advertised venue was not an ICDA meeting, but was a selected stakeholders’ meeting convened by Eje-dekina and Acting chairman, Igala Area Traditional Council in the name of “IGALA STAKEHOLDERS MEETING”.
It is therefore a fabricated lie that the said meeting held at that venue on that day. The heading of the publication is therefore misleading, frivolous, and designed to misinform the general public that the Incorporated Trustees convened the meeting.
The general public is therefore informed that the Sadiq Amodu Abubakar led Executive Committee has since been dissolved and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Abuja was immediately duely notified to that effect. The CAC was also notified that a Caretaker Committee has been put in place to reposition the organisation back to achieve the objectives of its registration.The Caretaker Committee is led by Comrade Omattah Emmanuel, a former Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress ( NLC), Kogi State chapter.
Sadiq Amodu Abubakar, former President of ICDA was perceived as alledgly fraudulent by the Incorporated Trustees, in the management of one hundred and eighteen million naira(#118M), which he raised into an illegal account. Sadiq Amodu Abubakar has refused to be transparent and accountable to the Incorporated Trustees as he was unable to submit a financial report to the Incorporated Trustees.
In order to evade the inevitable investigation by the Incorporated Trustees, he misled people and brought in Professor Stephen Ocheni led parallel Board of Trustees, in order to create crisis in ICDA and frustrate the Incorporated Trustees from further investigating him.
Sadiq Amodu Abubakar has further misled some other prominent stakeholders, and is bringing them to public ridicule, with his game of smear campaign and deceit, in order to evade the inevitable investigation of his financial dealings and continue to false parade himself as President of the Association.
The general public should also know that he evaded the Incorporated Trustees and submitted a bye law for ICDA where he signed as the President of his own BOT. This is verifiable.
The Incorporated Trustees has directed the Caretaker Committee to constitute an investigative panel immediately against Sadiq Amodu Abubakar and his defunct Executive Committee to look at the alledged withdrawals of the one hundred and eighteen million (#118M), having obtained a statement of account through legal means.
