Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara today started academic activities on campus with the Biology Department. The course named General Biology having BIO 111 as code was lectured to thirty eight (38) students from 8:30 a.m. by one of the lecturers in the department named Mr. Tayo Timon Oludare.
The Vice Chancellor (VC) of CUSTECH, Prof. Sadiku Salawu had made proper arrangements with other staff of CUSTECH as at last week to make sure lectures starts immediately after the Democracy Day public holiday. He was readily on ground as early as 8:00 a.m. to be part of the epoch-making event of starting lectures at CUSTECH. Also, the Registrar, Ms Olufunke Hudson walked round the lecture rooms with the VC and other staff members to see how the students were coping with the ongoing lecture.
Other lectures will be taking place later in the day in other departments as students are already on ground and eager to start a new academic journey they have so much waited for. On the side of CUSTECH, the lecturers are more than ready to take the new crop of students to achieve academic greatness.
