By joshua CSDA: An Agency With Rare, Unsung Men Working To Actualize The RURAL Development Vision Of Gov. Ododo

The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Kogi CSDA, has become the quiet force turning Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s promise into reality across rural Kogi. Not loud in rhetoric, but relentless in results, this is an agency powered by rare, unsung men and women moulded in service, discipline, and accountability. From his first day in office, Governor Ododo made it clear that no rural community will lack the basic amenities that make life comfortable. That promise is being delivered doorstep by doorstep through CSDA.
At the helm is the General Manager, Chief Momoh Dauda, a leader described as one who studies the Governor’s body language and translates it into action. Across the 21 LGAs, he has become the face of the Ododo administration — visible, accessible, and trusted. Standing firm like a rock of Gibraltar, he has not failed in his responsibility.
Operating on a Community-Driven Development model, CSDA empowers communities to identify, prioritize, and manage their own projects while providing funding, technical support, and strict quality oversight. Communities elect their own Community Project Management Committees, prepare Community Development Plans, and implement micro-projects with CSDA ensuring transparency and sustainability.
Through NG-CARES and CSDP, the agency has delivered over 230 micro-projects across 97+ communities — water and sanitation, health clinics, classrooms, roads, rural electrification, livelihood support, and erosion control. More than 557,000 direct beneficiaries and over 2.5 million people have been impacted. Where past administrations concentrated projects in urban centers, CSDA has taken development deeper into hard-to-reach and underserved communities that had long been forgotten.
With transparency, grassroots presence, and fidelity to promise as its watchwords, Kogi CSDA continues to turn the Governor’s vision of inclusive, resilient, and dignified rural life into visible reality, one community at a time.
From the accomplishments of the CSDA that has kept tongues wagging positively about the present administration in Kogi State, it just safe to say with funds, come 2027, Ododo should just sleep with his two eyes closed. This is because he will win overwhelmingly.
