Council Polls: Endorsement of Hon. Edibo Ameh Mark for second term, doesn”t represent nor carry support of majority of the people of Omala LG.
THE STATE PARTY CHAIRMAN OF ALL PROGRESSIVE. CONGRESS (APC).
The endorsement of Hon. Edibo Ameh Mark for second term as Omala Local government chairman by some few individuals doesn’t represent nor carry the support of the majority of the good people of Omala Local government.
This is because the general public and the core members of the party APC believed that the continual marginalization of the people of Ogodu district from elective positions in the district is a political time bomb waiting to explode. And if it’s allowed further the casualty will be uncountable.
Any right thinking member of the party and the true sons and daughters of Omala would not allow some collective few who only think of where their next meal will come from to course trouble between us.
You can’t continue to fool some persons always, especially,the modern world of today. So, it is high time we let go marginalization and sectional lopsided representation in the council chairmanships position of Omala.
The local government “Omala” was created under two districts, Ife and Ogodu districts before two other districts was later created from Ife and since then only the three have had the opportunity to mount all the elective positions since inception if democracy, inspite of the contributions of Ogodu district interms of providing chunks of votes and their unlimited, unflinching support to the Ife’s yet Ogodu district wasn’t considered in all political positions either at House of Assembly and Council Chairmanships position.
It is at this juncture, we are calling on the general public to disregard their kangaroo endorsement to give chance to piece to reign in our land.
