Council Elections: Kogi PDP is contesting to win all seats – Hon. Enemona Anyebe, State Chairman.

 

State Chairman

 

The People’s Democratic Party in Kogi State says it contesting in the forthcoming Local Government Election election to win.

Chairmanship Candidates

 

The Kogi State Chairman of the PDP, Hon Enemona Anyebe made the disclosure at the official flag off of campaign for the October 19th Local Government Election.

Karaku

 

The Chairman urged the people of the State to vote against poverty, hunger, unemployment and lack of access to good education and health care facilities in the State.

 

Ilona

The PDP Chairman said the enthusiasm on the faces of the people and members of the Party, attest to the fact that the local Government election in the State is a walkover for the PDP.

Ogunmola

Similarly in his remarks, Mr. Kingsley
Ilona Idoko, former Governorship aspirant of the PDP in the last Governorship election urged the PDP Chairmenship candidates to take possession of what he described as their rights taken away from them.

Ukwenya

He assured that with the enthusiasm displayed by members, said “very soon Kogi wIll rise again, PDP will rule again”.

Adazaki, Youth Leader

Also speaking at the flag off, Hon. Yahaya Karaku, former Chairman, Okene LGA, expressed optimism that under a free and fair election, the PDP will win overwhelmingly, described Kogi State as a PDP stronghold.

 

In his remarks, the Minority Whip, Kogi State House of Assembly and Member, Representing Ogori Magongo State Constituency, Hon. Bode Ogunmola, described power as belonging to God, called on the people of the State to come out enmass to vote for the PDP across the State. He assured that with the present hardship faced by the people and juxtaposed with the PDP era, described the PDP as the choice of the people in the forthcoming Local Government Election.

In his remarks, Hon. Yunusa Yakubu Chado, the PDP Chairmenship Candidate, Lokoja Local Government, assured that his Party will emerge victorious come 19th October.

He described the PDP as a party that has been tested by the people, lamented that the current economic hardship faced by the people would propel them to vote for the PDP.

Highlights of the flag off was the presentation of Party flags to the Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates across the State by the State Chairman of the Party amidst cheers and jubilation.
