Vice Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area Mrs Rebecca Kpanache says construction of Oguma Sheria bridge will boost winning of Governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress APC in November Election.
Mrs Kpanache Stated this in a reconcilatory meeting of Members of All Progressive Congress APC in Oguma headquarters of Bassa Local Government Area.
Mrs Kpanache said the construction of Oguma Sheria bridge linking the two Communities has economic importance to people of the area and the state.
According to the vice chairman the recent approval of resources by the state government on the completion of the project brought joy to the people of the Area.
Mrs Kpanache Commended the state government for the gesture stressing that the people of the local government is reconciled to work for the victory of Alhaji Usman Ododo victory in November.
Earlier the Chairman Kogi State pension board Mr Isaac Wodi said it is a new dawn for people of Bassa Kwomu District belong to Goverment at the center.
Mr Wodi maintained that since the state government is showing commitment to develop the area,members of Bassa Cultural Development Union will show total support on the programmes and politicies of the present Administration.
While commending members of all Progressive congress for their support in the recent house of Assembly election candidate of the party Prince Benjamin Alagani expressed confidence of the parties victory.
In his remarks the former Commissioner of budget and planning Mr Paul Maiwaida described Governor Yahaya Bello as a team leader stressing that his decisions in the last year’s of his Administration has strengthen one – ness of people in the state.
He called on the people of the area to remain firm on the Governorship candidate of the party and advise members of the party to shun antyparty.
A former Local Government Chairman in the area mr Bako Shigaba and critical stake holder of the party James Kaura and Pa Daniel Gwatana maintained that political Leaders in the area must drop their differences for the development of the area.
