The House of Representatives Candidate for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Lawal Idrisu, has condoled with the family of former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, CON, over his demise.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of his family and the good people of Ajaokuta Local Government and Kogi State in general, Hon. Idrisu said Kogi State has lost its most illustrious son.
“Alhaji Ibrahim Idris was a visionary, humble, accessible and compassionate leader whose administration made remarkable contributions to Kogi State’s infrastructural and human development strides.
He prioritised the welfare of civil servants, education, healthcare and the overall wellbeing of the people.
His legacy of service, simplicity and commitment to the growth of Kogi State will remain unforgettable,” he stated.
Hon. Idrisu prayed that Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
