The Senator Elect Kogi West Senatorial District, Hon Sunday Karimi has sent a message of congratulations to Gov. Yahaya Bello on the auspicious conferment of the Commander, Order of the Niger honour.
Hon. Karimi in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, described the conferment as most-deserved.
Hon. Karimi said the iconic National Honour of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), is a crowing that is coming as a reward for hardwork and exceptional leadership by Gov. Bello.
” Your Excellency, Sir, the honour is most-deserved because, in both your private and public commitments, you have continued to demonstrate uncommon passion, zeal and patriotism required for the actualisation of the Nigerian Project.
“Your uncommon commitment to the Nigerian Project has manifested in the encouragement of unity in diversity, in youth consciousness and involvement in governance, in moral revival and in both the fiscal and physical development of Kogi State.
“As an Executive Governor of a State with virtually all the multidimensional characters of the Nigerian Federation, you have demonstrated an unqualified capacity for cohesive and inclusive governance through a model of development agenda encapsulated in the New Direction Blueprint.
“This is evidenced in your commitment to youth inclusiveness in governance, in religious and cultural tolerance, in gender balance, in monetary and fiscal policy, in health management, in agricultural evolution, in the repositioning of the education sector, and lots more.
“Above all, you have been a shining example of youthful drive and unwavering vigour in governance, showing relentlessly that with the youths’ continued involvement in leadership, the future of our nation is fully assured”.
Hon. Karimi described Gov. Bello as a living example of quality leadership as can be seen in his indelible imprint, described the CON as the beginning of more National and International laurels that would come in the future.
