Once upon a time, in the 60’s and 70’s post colonial era, there were several job opportunities for graduates to select offers that best suit their career demand. Then, youths are determinant of national development. Employees lived like Prince and worked in sincerity because of the good Social, Economy and Political Structure. But in this present era, there are no available jobs; experienced and qualified graduates are seen on the street socked in poverty due to unemployment facets of our nation. Selection & Placement are based on applicants’ connection and political influence; White Collar jobs are mostly reserved for associates of the elites. Funds released for Youths Empowerment Schemes are frequently hijacked by the nobles of our society, whereby imprecise capital are provided to their few loyalists.The grim economic challenges had scared our youths from marrying and raising families. How long are we going to live like a stranger in a country blessed with abundant human and natural resources? How long would we keep deceiving ourselves as “giant of Africa”, whereby we have some parasite sucking us from our anus? Our past heroes; Pa Tafawa Balewa, Pa Amodu Bello, Pa Obafemi Awolowo, Pa Nnamdi Azikiwe, Pa Daniel Ogbadu, Pa Abdullazeez Attah, Queen Amina & Princess Inikpi Ayegba were icon of our unified growth, while some avaricious leaders often tussle for their self-interest. Sons of my Mother with ebullience nature of my Father’s heritage, remember your pledges to Niger area, adjacent to the coast of Benue, where our Coat of Arm was fashionably designed to strengthen our adorable image.Youths of our days have decided not to labour in vain while others embezzle our rich resources. We kick against corruption because it is not in our culture or religion.Why should we allow ourselves to be used as canvasser, and not properly valued as Excellence Appostles? Likewise, Youths in the Military, Police and State Securities are the major machineries used to keep peace, while the older ones take the glory. How many of our young men and women in the force are honoured with National Awards “as heroes of our days”? The fact still remain that Youths are not genuinely recognized and represented in the nation decision making because our leaders interest did not make available an opportunity to fully participate. We unanimously chose not to be used and later dumped. Don’t sell your conscience, lets support transparent leaders; Say no, to thuggery and violent, for we are one big family! Say no to the unemployment syndrome that had dragged us to poverty!! And yes, to job opportunities and Socio-Economic Empowerment.Youths sees vision and are blessed with fresh ideas and innovations to adroitly direct us on efflorescence pathway. In this competitive atmosphere, we need visionary leaders with digital mindset, who from their past and present experiences can explore our Intellectual Potentials to tap the untapped resources of our hidden treasures. We don’t want to be stagnant with old fashion ideologies.A trumpet is blown; listen to its Echoes, as it whispered “Good Governance” on our memories. Hear me, ye greens of my Motherland and fertile soil of my Fatherland. The day is dawn for adept Yuppies to ascend their positions in governance. We urge our elders not to waste their time on mucky course, but to guide us as we activate our innovative asset into action and dance to the same stewardship music with different steps of modern styles.We say no to Fake Promises, Deceitful Act, Corruption, Injustice, Terrorism, Prejudice, Stereotype and Nepotism that are commonly seen and practice in our society. Heart of intelligentsia offspring will not adopt leadership trait of those who had betrayed our trust in them; but will fill the gap with best solutions. Nigerian requires Young Intellectuals to accelerate new technologies and transparently transform this nation to its apex position for the benefit of our people. Our elders are tired with the scrimmage of the past and should relax for our sanguine generation to continue the struggle into the future. The future has come and we are prepared to seal our cracked walls and harmoniously live a better life with our beautifully sketched destiny on our palm. Youths possess the necessary skills, creativities, strengths, abilities, credibility’s, accountabilities, innovative ideas and managerial knowledge to lead on success track. Prodigies arise and shine to inspire the sleeping giant within! Thanks and God bless the Confluence of Central Resources that upholds Nigeria.
