
CNNPF RECOMMENDS AMB. (DR.) ALEWA AKAWU NASIRU FOR NATIONAL MERIT AWARD OVER UNCOMMON STEWARDSHIP TO HUMANITY
The Christian Northern Nigerian Political Progressives Forum (CNNPF) has recommended Amb. (Dr.) Alewa Akawu Nasiru, FDMSS, FCCP, FICA, FCISM, for a national merit award in recognition of his uncommon stewardship to humanity and distinguished service across multiple sectors.

Based at No. 7 Bank Road, GRA, Kaduna, Amb. (Dr.) Alewa is a multiple award-winning safety scientist and disaster management expert whose career blends diplomacy, administration, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
*Academic and Professional Foundation*
Amb. Alewa’s journey began at LGEA Primary School, Guduge-Sabo, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate, before completing secondary education at Government Secondary School, Marmara, Nasarawa State. He holds a http://B.Sc. in Computer Science from the National Open University of Nigeria. His pursuit of specialized knowledge led him to earn a Professional Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Disaster Management from the Institute of Disaster Management and Safety Science, followed by a http://B.Sc. and Master’s degree in Safety and Disaster Management from Protestant University of West Africa, Benin Republic. He was also conferred with a Ph.D. in Disaster and Risk Management (honoris causa) by Prowess University, Delaware, USA, and recently received an honorary Ph.D. in Human Psychology from British-America Open University, California.
*Administrative and Entrepreneurial Impact*
He served as Director of Operations at Total Facilities Management Limited, where he set new standards for administrative excellence, and later as Head of Administration at Solicome Engineering Company Limited, where he improved operational efficiency and profitability.
Driven by a vision to contribute to national economic and human capital development, he founded ALEWA AKAWU FACILITIES MANAGEMENT LIMITED. The consortium was engaged by the Abuja Municipal Area Council and the Federal Capital Territory Administration to coordinate Pest and Vector Control Regulation, Gaseous Emission Regulation, and Tenement Rate and Valuation Administration. Under his leadership, the firm achieved unprecedented revenue generation for the Council.
As a revenue generation expert, he has worked across numerous states in Nigeria. Through his technical partnerships with government, his consortium has employed over 500 staff directly and provided indirect benefits to countless others.
