The Paramount Traditional Ruler Aguma and Clan Head of Edigeshi kingdom of Bassa Local Government Area Chief Joshua Uye has sent a message Wishing Gov. Yahaya Bello, Deputy Governor , Chief Edward Onoja, Chief of Staff Pharmacist Jamiu Asuku , all Kogites especially the good people of Bassa Local Government Area A Joyful Christmas.
The Aguma of Edigeshi Clan in Bassa Local Government Area in a press briefing on Christmas declared 2022 Christmas as a Joyful one.
Speaking to news men in Kekure, Akakana, HRH Aguma Uye Joshua appreciates God for the gift of Jesus, the born King of Kings, the Lamb of God who came to redeem the world from perdition.
Chief Joshua said , Jesus is the reason for the season. If Christ had not come, mankind would have been doomed for ever but thank God for Jesus, the Messiah of the Universe.
HRH of repute Chief Joshua Uye equally thanked God for Government of Kogi State for giving enabling environment for the smooth administration of the local government Area and freedom of Christians in the State to freely worship God. He also thank God for answering their prayers and to also congratulate Governor Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State and his cabinet members on the listing of Kogi State as an oil producing State and the completion of all outstanding debts on the Ajaokuta Steel Company by the Federal Government. These major developments would no doubt further affirm Kogi State as the confluence of opportunities.
For the Christians, The Aguma of Edigeshi kingdom urged Christians to replicate love of Christ by sharing with others in this yuletide. “Christ is love, let us fill the atmosphere with same” he added.
While urging all to be law abiding as they celebrate.
